Whirling waltzes, driving country rhythms and breakneck gypsy virtuosity; mix it all together and you have some idea of what Eyal & the Skeleton Crew have install for you.Join Israeli-born troubadour, Eyal and his bunch of rag-tag musicians on a musical journey from the depths of the Earth to the wild seas. Drawing influences from klezmer, jazz, folk and country music - eclectic doesn't even begin to describe Eyal & the Skeleton Crew. After spending three years in the military, a summer in Texas, bitter winters in New York and more hours in transit than he cares to recall, Eyal has amassed an opus of hauntingly beautiful, gravel sodden songs.

"My father was a clarinettist. Through him I was exposed to a range of musical styles, from klezmer to classical. I've been writing music for as long as I can recall, but always for a band or with collaborators. Every so often I'd write a song that just wouldn't fit in. It took me a while to understand that these songs are the ones I need to hold on to, the special ones that belong to me alone."
"These are my songs. My stories".

Showcasing songs from their new EP, Of Beggars and Choosers alongside old favourites and new gems, Eyal & the Skeleton Crew are as well known for their original song-craft as their surprising reinventions of popular songs. In the past they have balkanised Britney Spears, gypsy-styled Gaga and played Dixieland Disney songs. You never know what to expect at a Skeleton Crew show.

Eyal Chameides - Vocals and Guitar, Edward Ferris - Clarinet, Erin Lancaster - Violin and Vocals, Rob Grozdan - Harmonica and Vocals, Steve Hornby - Double-Bass, Daniel Brates - Drums
