Guitarist Nashua Lee, a finalist in the 2007 Wangaratta Guitar Jazz Awards (and best known for his contributions to Murphy's Law, Barney McAll and Twelve Tone Diamonds) formed Rabid Hawk in 2006 as a collective group to workshop rhythmic, cross genre and compositional ideas so as to produce an intertwining of sounds and spirited musical dialogue. Originally a bassless trio the group has been expanded to a sextet. The ensemble will feature the young talents of Sam Zerna(Bass), Ron Romero (tenor sax),Tom Noonan (alto sax), Leigh Fisher (drums) and James Bower (piano)
