This performance will feature Gianni Marinucci (trumpet
& flugelhorn), Tony Gould (piano) and Imogen Manins(cello) collaborate in very much an acoustic format, without bass and drums. The trio have performed as part of the Morricone project, as well as many festivals and concerts. The blend of flugelhorn and cello, combined with the lyrical inventiveness of Tony Gould, creates a completely unique sound. The emphasis will be on melodic interplay in an approach combining the late pianist Bill Evans and the ECM genre.
