Dynamic drummer Danny Fischer has been based in New York for several years now, with his main focus being the co-operative group Spoke, which recorded a debut CD. He is also involved in other projects, and recorded a double CD with a quintet last year which featuring Jon Irabagon (who won the 2009 Thelonious Monk Saxophone Competition). In 2010 and on previous visits he has renewed his on-going musical connection with acoustic bassist Frank Di Sario in a highly interactive trio. On this visit, pianist Joe Chindamo will join them in a special one-off performance.
