New York-based cellist Will Martina returns for a brief tour, performing at the Music Festival in Canberra. He is best known during his time in Melbourne for his beautiful and melodic contributions to the three albums by the Chris Hale Ensemble (with the late pianist Will Poskitt). On this visit he will be playing original music from his debut CD release as leader, The Dam Levels, which was recorded in New York.

Joining Mattina are Andrea Keller (piano) and NYC colleague Danny Fischer (drums), together with special guest Chris Hale (acoustic bass guitar ).
