A talented and highly charismatic jazz pianist and teacher/author, Steve Sedergreen, has made a vital and indelible imprint on the Melbourne jazz scene over the years. A genuine creative, Steve possesses an improvisational sensibility that is true to the spirit of jazz. His performances traverse complex emotional lines. At times brash, joyous, thrilling. At other times deeply tender, poetic and still. Always sensing and shifting intuitively with the other musicians who share the stage with him. 

In this performance, Steve and his band will perform tracks from his new album of original material, Points in Time, which is Steve's first release under his own name.

Points in Time is Steve's compositional narrative 'so far'; imbued with all that he knows now, both as a mature musician and man. It is infused with the soulful poetics of deep listening and will, at times, take your breath away. 



On piano and keyboards, Steve will front a stunning and star-studded seven-piece band with two guest vocalists.  Not to be missed.
