Pianist/composer Gemma Turvey leads a reduced version of her chamber ensemble, The New Palm Court Orchestra, here ahead of launching their new album 'Landscapes for a Mind's Eye' in October.Formed in 2011, the NPCO combines jazz piano trio with string quartet (led by Jenny Khafagi), and woodwinds and is a natural extension of Turvey's trio work, bringing to life the evocative, cinematic qualities inherent in her music. Featuring Frank Di Sario (bass), Sam Bates (drums), Luke Moller (violin) and Karen Heath (clarinet).
