Two of the country's finest "song players" take their chordless quartet to the people. Michelle Nicolle is a multi-award winning jazz vocalist with an incredible ability to lyrically improvise and creatively sculpt exquisite music. She has released six CDs, performed internationally and even shared a stage with Kurt Elling. Michelle is passionate about staying true to her artistic self, developing her incredible 'ear', exploring her expansive range and incredible tone, and giving voice to the dedication and hard work that has awarded her an enviable place in the Australian jazz scene.
Paul Williamson is a gifted saxophonist with years of experience and exceptional sense of melody and timing. They have been playing together regularly for the last four years often augmented with just acoustic bass or guitar. The open format allows both players much freedom to shape the music however they feel.
