Carlo Barbaro (tenor saxophone) has been very active in the Melbourne jazz scene for several years now, having first emerged from the V.C.A. as a member of the band, Vada. Having performed at the 2010 Wangaratta Festival as co-leader of his quartet with Eamon McNelis, tonight he debuts his own dynamic quartet as leader, featuring Darrin Archer (piano), Tom Lee (acoustic bass) and Hugh Harvey (drums), playing their own compositions (and some arrangements of jazz repertoire).
