Tim Willis & The End will bring their Night & Day suite, debuted at last year’s Melbourne International Jazz festival, back to our stage along with Tim's new works and a few of his favourite hits. The End is a nine piece band and has entralled audiences at festival and club shows, but they return to their root room here at Bennetts Lane to say "goodbye" and "long live Bennetts Lane". Not only is their music is steeped strong in the jazz tradition and contain all the elements that the jazz audience has come to expect, it also packs a hard rock punch. Their new work sees Tim Willis and the End experiment with minimalism and delve into long form improvisation. Do not miss these shows.
"This band presents a uniquely satisfying, high energy blend of jazz and rock ideas without subtracting from either genre".
