Bennetts Lane is open every night from 8:30pm. Unless otherwise specified, gigs normally start at 9:30pm.
Ticketing: Online ticketing is available for some gigs, however they will only be available up until 6:30pm on the day of the gig. Unless it is said that the gig is sold out, there will be tickets available on the door at each gig. |

Anthony Pateras & Max Kohane
Composer/pianist Anthony Pateras is a musical chameleon of sorts. Working in a broad array of groups across electronic and acoustic mediums, his practice takes him from the pubs of Melbourne to some of the world’s most prestigious concert halls. After appearing as soloist with the Australian Chamber Orchestra last year at both Hamer Hall and the Sydney Opera House, his band Pateras/Baxter/Brown will be undergoing their 5th international tour in October/November this year in partnership with cult trio The Necks. Additionally he’s just released his 2nd album Chromatophore for New York iconoclast John Zorn’s Tzadik imprint, and was just featured at both the Moers festival in Germany and NPAI festival in France in his duo project with acclaimed audio-visual artist Robin Fox. This is a rare chance to see Pateras piano solo, and for the second set he will be joined by drummer Max Kohane with their new project IXIXI: jump-cut free jazz, brutal virtuosity and devastating rhythmic intensity. Not to be missed!
